SciFi and Fantasy Art: Normality is what you make it

Meet Anissina and Albert. They're hardworking demons holding down steady jobs and building their relationship nicely. Anissina is a secretary to a higher Succubus (keeping track of victims for the quarterly reviews, filing details of potential victims, passing on any changes in locations etc etc), and Albert is a night-shift portal guardian on one of the lesser portals between the demonic realms (he checks passes, IDs visitors, clears locals to use the portal, sets up schedules etc). I don't like Albert's markings. Pfft.

Fantastic work.
Such a cool and creative idea and so very well done.
I especially like the colouring of the snake tail!
Great!

I love the design and colors, and, hey, even the idea of steady job (do they have a union?). I think I understand why you hate those makrings: they seem like something spilled on him, or they seem like he's cut open. If the colors were inverted(swapped) they may look a bit btter. But I love the design for both characters and I have been checking all your pictures, amazed and astounded. Keep up the amazing and insane (in a good way) work.

I like the desingns on his tail and wings. Black red and yellow go so well together. I also like how the snake tail wraps around.

1 Oonagh R. McAreavy replies: "Thank you. I do love playing with poisonous colours."

2 Oonagh R. McAreavy replies: "Hmm. "Come see the beaches of hell - brimstone to your heart's content". Heh."

I just realized that Anissina's name is spelled the same backwards and forwards. Cool.

16 Oonagh R. McAreavy replies: "Eeeh? I never even spotted that myself! I named her after Marina Anissina, a French icedancer (who skates with Gwendal Piezerat - except I think I spelled his surname wrong)."
